Overview

We’re seeking a Commercial Enablement Specialist reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Enablement to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing our commercial organization’s effectiveness. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll be responsible for creating, supporting and executing varied enablement initiatives for symplr’s customer facing teams. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, creativity and facilitation acumen will help drive strategic alignment and revenue growth. If you’re highly collaborative and passionate about continuous learning and empowering others, we’d love to hear from you. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create varied modalities of training materials & programs such as sales tools, playbooks, videos, workshops, e-learning modules, certifications, and best practices documentation tailored to the healthcare SaaS industry
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to garner updated product information and ensure seamless execution of initiatives and programs
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to customer facing team members (Account Executives, Solution Executives, Customer Relationship Executives, etc.) to reinforce skills and ensure continuous improvement
  • Identify and proactively suggest opportunities to improve enablement processes, workflows, and systems for increased efficiency
  • Coordinate meetings, virtual training sessions & occasional in-person events to facilitate effective learning
  • Monitor & measure enablement adoption metrics to ensure that trainings align with business objectives, and to shape and define commercial enablement best practices
  • Leverage symplr's suite of enablement tools effectively to enhance development and accelerate productivity within the commercial team
  • Gather training feedback from commercial team members to refine training programs and materials based on utilization, efficacy, and real-world needs and challenges
  • Continuously grow product, functional, and industry knowledge through training, research, and collaboration
  • Adhere to department operational standards and procedures to maximize team efficiencies
  • Occasionally travel to conduct or support in-person training sessions (e.g. sKO)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5+ years in Sales Enablement, L&D, Sales Operations or a related role
  • Instructional design expertise to develop engaging/effective training materials & programs
  • Adept at managing multiple simultaneous projects, timelines, and deliverables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with eLearning tools, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), CMS systems (e.g. Seismic or Highspot), survey tools (e.g. SurveyMonkey), Communication tools (e.g. MSFT Teams), and other sales-related tools such as CI solutions (e.g. Chorus or Gong) & sales engagement platforms (e.g. Outreach)
  • Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with cross functional partners in sales leadership, customer success leadership, marketing, product, operations, etc.
  • Strong written, presentation, facilitation and verbal communication skills
  • High integrity work ethic, works autonomously, and consistent follow through
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate experience with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

 

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a full cycle SaaS sales/customer success role
  • Experience in healthcare SaaS or related industry
  • Familiarity with Sales Methodology training such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales
  • Experience with Project Management tools (e.g. Asana)
