Overview

As the Senior Implementation Manager, the primary responsibility is to spearhead the development and implementation strategy for efficiently onboarding new clients and employees, including introducing new programs, systems, and processes into a production environment. Identify tasks that need to be completed to prepare staff for implementation and ensure that client expectations are met. Effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels is crucial to achieving success in this role. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Leadership and Operations team to ensure: 
    • Optimal approach for onboarding new clients, services, and processes   
    • All technical requirements are in place in advance of the start of new clients, services, and processes   
  • Engage stakeholders who are critical to the success of new clients, services, and processes 
  • Engage stakeholders who are critical to the success of new employee integration 
  • Manage information flows between stakeholders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness; this includes communicating and working with other areas of the organization to effectively manage the new customer through implementation
  • Lead end to end onboarding and implementation of new CVO customers and develop and manage new hire orientation
  • Serve as primary customer contact during implementation
  • Coordinate and lead customer meetings and implementation calls
  • Collaborate with Sales as a credentialing SME and support precontract work
  • Develop and manage new hire onboarding programs and training content
  • Maintain and update all CVO training materials and learning paths
  • Provide guidance and advice on best practices   
  • Update and maintain Training Materials and all symplr University Content, review and update as applicable, but at least annually 
  • Create and present training
  • Ensure new resources are implemented effectively 
  • Ensure staff are informed about changes in advance and receive appropriate training to prepare for implementation 
  • Relay issues appropriately when identified and seek answers to relevant questions   

Skills Required

  • Direct working experience with healthcare credentialing in a CVO, hospital, or other healthcare settings where adherence to policy and other regulatory standards is essential 
  • Solid working knowledge of credentialing software applications and/or other relational databases  
  • Effective project management skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects varying in scope and priority 
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to partner and consult across a variety of functions and organizational levels
  • Ability to determine appropriate training solutions 
  • Ability to think systematically, organize, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Detail-focused with big-picture understanding; creativity that complements process-driven execution
  • Comfortable and confident engaging other health care professionals, subject matter experts, and senior business leadership one-on-one and in group formats 
  • Capable of writing clear, engaging, and accurate copy  
  • Excellent use of Microsoft suite of products (heavy Excel and PowerPoint use) 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Seven years of experience in the healthcare industry

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree
  • CPCS/CPMSM
  • Experience with symplr systems (sPayer)
